I bought it and decided to try it out for myself, surprisingly this lash heater DOES work (but thats only for me). I am asian and my lashes are short so i found that this curler gave my just enough curl to my lashes, i think you just have to know how to hold it to make your lashes curl. It takes AAA batteries and the only thing that i didnt like about it was that it ate batteries faster than a fat kid can eat cake. I use it everyday and for the first 3 days with a new battery it would give GREAT curl, then as the battery life winded down it wouldnt heat up as hot giving less curl. It would be completely useless within one week to two. Its small and petite enough to bring with u everywhere. The heated eye lashes is not only cute but also work well for me. My secret is : Curl the eye lashes with regular curler before you apply the mascara, the wait a few second till mascara a little bit dry and the curler is hot, maybe about 15-20 secs then start curling the eye lashes until I get the curl I want. it lash all day for me. Great investment for a working women and don't want to mess with heating the old curler using hair dryer! BTW...this is my husband amazon ID so it will show his real name! Orcutt (Greenwood, SC) - See all my reviews    Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?) It definitely took some time to figure out how to use this thing. It didn't come with any directions. Finally I think I've figured the thing out and it works OK. It curls only the ends of the lashes so if you have short to medium lashes I would think it would work great. My lashes are longer and I wish it would curl them closer to the lash line. All in all it works better than the regular no heat lash curler and my lashes stayed curled all day.
