Easy to use and more effective than a traditional curler. Well, after only 4-5 uses over a course of two weeks, my husband commented on my "burned off lashes". I had not used the ruler in days,so I thought it had to be the quick mascara job I had done that morning without a curler or a mirror. Sure enough, I look in the mirror and I have no lashes! Literally, they are GONE! I am at a loss for words! I do not believe this to be user error and there is no other possible explanation. Be warned! My eyelashes burned off and who knows how long it will take to grow back. It was only $5 so if it worked a couple of times, it was still a better deal than paying salon prices, although bad for the environment if you consider it basically disposable. The real problem is that I have been noticing that I seem to have less lashes to curl. At first I thought it was only because I got used to using this eyelash curler. I knew that wasn't true, though, because I used to have long pretty lashes, although they were straight. I'm also pregnant and so I wouldn't be losing lashes. If anything,... The upper part that holds your top lashes was also not very smooth. I used to have one of these that had the soft material (that heats up) on both the top and bottom and it worked very well. Thought that was what I was purchasing. It was not. |
